Mr Dowling said, "I have worked tirelessly for the local community and submitted Questions on Notice, raised these issues in Parliament and written Letters to the Minister on numerous occasions, requesting that traffic lights be installed at the intersection of Beveridge and Redland Bay Roads adjacent to Faith Lutheran College Senior School and at the intersection of Ziegenfusz and Redland Bay Roads which allows safer access to Carmel College.”

Mr Dowling commented, "The Anita Street, Redland Bay area has also suffered for many years under a tired Labor government who installed an unsuitable road-surface on Redland Bay Road, between Benfer Road and Boundary Street, Redland Bay which increased road noise to an unbearable level and with the new road-surface having been laid, it should decrease excessive road noise."
"The issue of a safer exit and entry solution from Anita Street to Redland Bay Road has not been addressed by the Labor Government and despite residents' concerns being raised at a public meeting on 1st of June this year, and a request to the Minister for Main Roads Craig Wallace for a personal meeting with residents to discuss suitable solutions, no response to date has been received." stated Mr Dowling.
"I will continue the fight for my electorate where there are unsafe roads and I invite residents to contact me with any State road concerns or issues."
